Lincoln Park Engagement Session : Patricia and Eliot

This past weekend I spent my afternoon with Patricia and Eliot. I met Patricia through her sister Diana. I used to work with her sister, Diana, and captured her wedding last year. I am super excited I now get the pleasure to capture Patricia's wedding next year.

Patricia has her own salon in Lincoln park, Patricia Marie Salon, where she met her fiancé Eliot. He is in sales and at the time was selling some salon products. So he went to Patricia's salon to sell some products and I bet he never thought that day he walked through her salon would be the day he would meet his future wife! So what better way to start their session then by the salon. We started by the alley of her salon for a causal start to our day.

We then took a cab over to one of my favorite locations to shoot Lincoln Park zoo. Here is a sweet moment in the cab ride over.

Eliot is a phenomenal musician. He sings and plays a guitar and I was quite excited to hear him play in person. Patricia use to tell her friends when she was younger she wanted to marry someone who played the guitar. Well she's getting that wish. So of course we had to have a jam session and Patricia got some one on one lessons from Eliot. At one point she had Eliot quite surprised and pleased as she started holding her own while she played.

We then strolled around the grounds around the zoo where we stopped to take pics and even a piggy back ride.

As the sun was setting we headed over to North Ave Beach where we ended our session. And the sky that sunset was beautiful giving us a gorgeous pink blue sky. Perfect ending to our day.
