Chicago Cake Smash and Family Session | Isla is One

I honestly think I blinked and Isla turned one. It feels like only yesterday I was doing her newborn session. I have loved following her momma on IG. She posts such adorable pictures of her and Isla has the best personality. So of course I couldn't wait to see her in person. She has grown so much and will make anyone fall in love with her. Her mom and dad picked the most perfect place for her cake smash and family session. We were a little worried at first because we specifically planned for a golden hour session and the weather changed on us the last minute. When we arrived for our session it was a heavy overcast day and we didn't think we'd see the sun. I think Mother Nature was just toying with us because mid way through our session the sun peeked out from the clouds giving us some beautiful dreamy light that we were hoping for. Today is her official birthday and what better day to share a blog post of the fun we had. Come take a look.....
